Trevecca Nazarene University celebrates enrollment growth

Trevecca Nazarene University unveiled a new billboard this week, touting the University as the “fastest growing university in Middle Tennessee.”

Based on data gathered by Carol Smith for the Nashville Business Journal and published in the Journal’s 2016-2017 Book of Lists, Trevecca outpaced all other middle Tennessee universities in net student growth from fall 2015 to fall 2016. Trevecca’s total enrollment grew 581 students from 2015 to 2016 for a growth of 22.01 percent.

Each year, the Journal publishes a list that ranks local universities according to total enrollment. By comparing the 2015 and 2016 lists, Trevecca officials determined that the University had enrolled more students than the prior year in relation to any other comprehensive college or university included on the list.

The Book of Lists and the data it contains can be accessed via the “Store” tab at www.NashvilleBusinessJournal.com.

Trevecca is set to celebrate the University’s enrollment growth, campus expansion and more in the upcoming President’s Report. The 32-page report will detail the University achievements and financial information from the past year through the lens of Trevecca’s mission statement. The President’s Report will be released in mid-February.
