Welcome to the blog for "Your Kingdom Come: A Documentary."
Your Kingdom Come is part of a Faculty Led Academic Research Experience (FLARE) for the Spring 2017 semester. The project was proposed and is being headed up by communications studies professor Seth Conley. In less than two weeks, a team of 13 film students along with 5 Bible and religion students will be flying to Israel to film a documentary about the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. The film will feature Trevecca faculty members Dr. Timothy Green, Dr. Tim Gaines, and Dr. Shawna Songer Gaines. Throughout the 10-day journey, we will visit and film at Biblically historical sites including the Mount of Beatitudes, Nazareth, Bethlehem, and Capernaum. When we return to the States, our post production team will take over and help to edit and aggregate the footage into a 30-minute documentary.
We will be recording our progress on this blog as well as sharing pictures, stories, and experiences from our travels abroad. Join us on this journey to learn a little more about Jesus in the place where He walked among us.
