2020 has been a year for the record books! While the global pandemic has changed so much about our daily lives, at Trevecca, we want to end the year focused on something that will never change: our love for and pride in our graduates.

On Dec. 4 and 5, we’ll honor all graduates who would have participated in Trevecca’s May 2020 Commencement Convocation with a special Drive-Up Graduation Celebration. So what do you need to know about this special weekend? We’ve got all the details.

  1. You’ll get to experience iconic Commencement moments.
A photographer will also be on hand to make sure you get a photo with Trevecca’s president, Dr. Dan Boone, to commemorate your achievement. As you exit the ceremony, you’ll also receive a special alumni gift. Get all the info!
  2. This celebration is all about YOU.
One advantage of this unique format is that it provides you with a personal graduation experience and gives your guests (four total) a front-row seat to celebrate your achievements. We encourage you to decorate your cap (or car!) and make every effort to enjoy the moment. You’ve worked hard for this!
  3. Help us keep our community safe and healthy.
In order to protect you and your family—as well as our faculty, staff, volunteers and other guests—you and your guests will need to wear face coverings while on campus. Don’t worry! You can remove your mask for that coveted Commencement photo! In accordance with public health guidelines, we ask that all students and guests attending the event monitor their health. If you are feeling unwell or running a fever of 100.4 degrees or higher, please stay home. If you or a guest are at high risk for COVID-19, we encourage you to stay home. The event will also be livestreamed in its entirety, a great option for those who want to share in your big moment but can’t be there in person.
  4. You’ll get a chance to wear your regalia!
Many of our graduates (with the exception of our doctoral graduates) received their regalia back in May. This is the chance to don that cap and gown again and celebrate your achievements. Ed.D. graduates who submitted an online registration in May should have received information about how to pick up their regalia prior to the Drive-Up Graduate Celebration. Get all the details about your regalia, getting ready and more!

We can’t wait to welcome you and your guests back home to the Hill for this special celebration. In the meantime, visit Trevecca.edu/Commencement for more information.
