Trevecca is member of NCAA D II
On Wednesday, July 9, 2014, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) notified President Dan Boone that Trevecca Nazarene University had been approved for full and active Division-II membership. This announcement, the culmination of Trevecca’s three-year process to NCAA membership, means that all of Trevecca’s 15 intercollegiate teams will be eligible for post-season play on September 1, 2014.
At a Friday (7/11/14) press conference, held in Hardy Alumni Center on the Trevecca campus at 3:30 PM, Trevecca administrators will announce the good news to alumni, athletes, coaches, and supporters. (Trevecca held that news in response to the NCAA’s request that new member schools hold announcements until that date.)
