TNU commencement activities returning to campus for spring 2021

Spring 2021 candidates at Trevecca will have a chance to take part in traditional graduation ceremonies on campus, thanks to the return of in-person commencement convocations May 7-8.

Ceremonies for traditional and non-traditional associate and bachelor degree candidates will take place during morning and afternoon sessions on Saturday, May 8, and master and doctorate ceremonies will take place during two sessions on Friday, May 7.

Social distancing guidelines will be followed for the safety of all students and visitors. Guests are limited to five per student based on current guidelines for Davidson County. As local health officials update the guidelines, any changes to the restrictions will be communicated prior to the graduation dates.

“We are thrilled that we can formally honor our graduates in person and on campus again,” said Trevecca Provost Tom Middendorf.  “We look forward to celebrating the achievements and resilience of these students, in the company of family and friends, as they close out this chapter in their academic careers.”

As is tradition, commencement ceremonies will take place on the quad adjacent to McClurkan Hall on the TNU campus.

Other related activities include a Physician Assistant program commencement on August 6; a nurse pinning ceremony on April 24; and a Phi Delta Lambda induction ceremony for the top 15 percent of the graduating class on May 6.

A complete list of times and dates can be found on Trevecca’s spring 2021 commencement schedule.
