Audience gathered at PALCON

Ministry leaders from across the southeast educational field and beyond gathered at Trevecca this summer for PALCON. PALCON, which stands for ‘pastors and leaders of the Church of the Nazarene,’ is a time of worship, encouragement, fellowship, prayer and equipping.

More than 375 leaders were present for the three-day event. During five plenary sessions, Trevecca President Dan Boone, Michaele LaVigne, Althea Taylor, Albert Hung and Eugenio Duarte spoke on the theme of “A Deeper Well.”

PALCON also featured more than 60 workshops covering a range of topics including spiritual formation, ministry across cultures, crucial conversations, planting new churches, outreach and evangelism, pastoral wellness, worship, preaching and more.

Multiple smaller gatherings took place as well including times of fellowship for women clergy, Nazarene Theological Seminary alumni and young clergy. Attendees also had the opportunity to tour Trevecca’s Urban Farm with Nazarenes for Creation Care.
