Trevecca's Homecoming 2023 parade.

Homecoming 2023 was a weekend of celebration on the Hill, reuniting with friends, building new connections and remembering history. The festivities kicked off Thursday night and extended through Friday and Saturday, with varied events designed to foster community and revisit the values and experiences that make Trevecca unique. Here are just some of the highlights:

Athletic Hall of Fame Dinner & Celebration: This event honored some of the remarkable men and women who have shaped Trevecca athletics over the years.

Founder’s Day Chapel: This gathering featured the TESTIFY choir, the distribution of alumni awards and a talk with Dr. H. Ray Dunning, one of our most esteemed alumni and a respected theologian.

University Commons Dedication: In celebrating Trevecca’s growth and its expanding options for students living on campus, the new seven-story residence hall was dedicated.

Center for Wesleyan-Holiness Kickoff: The inaugural event to launch this new center featured words of encouragement from President Dr. Dan Boone and Dr. Tim Gaines and a panel on Wesleyan-holiness featuring pastors from different generations and denominations.

Town and Country Showcase: This production brought together alumni and students in musical performances, highlighting the talent of the Trevecca community.

One BIG Reunion: Alumni across the decades had the opportunity to connect with other former students, along with faculty and staff.

Homecoming Parade and Street Fair: This annual tradition celebrated 50 years of the parade, and featured floats, music, food trucks and fun for all ages.

Night of Worship: An intergenerational worship service Saturday evening featured past and present Trevecca worship leaders and honored the faith that is so foundational to the University.

Next year’s Homecoming activities will take place Nov. 1-2, 2024. Make plans to be there!
