Trevecca Athletics Dedicates New Multi-Purpose Golf Facility

Trevecca officials, athletes, alumni and guests celebrated the completion of the new Jim Hendershot Golf Facility during a dedication ceremony on Saturday, April 1. The multi-purpose building on campus gives the men’s and women’s golf teams additional space for storage and practice.

"Our student-athletes are looking forward to getting in more practice closer to home, and we're excited about the long-term advantages the new facility brings as we continue to improve and pursue championships," Trevecca golf coach David Head said. "We are thankful to all our donors and administrators who worked together to make this addition a reality."

Construction on the 2,250 square foot facility began in January 2022 on the turf field along Nance Lane, near the teams’ current outdoor practice space. The improved opportunity for player development is expected to be an asset for recruiting future generations of top golfers to Trevecca.
