Trevecca has been a place of never ending opportunity for me. Whenever I feel like I’m getting to a point in my life where I’m feeling complacent, something else comes up to change its course. The fall semester of 2017 had its fair share of opportunities. The Exercise Science and Biology department provided me the opportunity to go on a missions trip to Nicaragua this spring. Technically considered a “FLARE” trip, we’ll be giving seminars and clinics centered around basic health concepts and research pertaining to the local community. We’ll also be working with local health clinics to work alongside existing healthcare that is being provided to the community.
