Trevecca Softball | Trojans Come Up Just Short of a Title, Fall to UWA 5-3

OXFORD, Ala. – A magical week at the 2026 Gulf South Conference Championships ended for the Trevecca Nazarene University softball team on Saturday, as the Trojans battled the West Alabama Tigers for the GSC title. Trevecca entered the tournament as the final team to make the field, yet through the first three days of play, coach Ben Tyree's bunch found ways to keep winning, earning a shot to keep their season going. On Saturday, though, the clock struck midnight on their Cinderella run.
