Trevecca Baseball | Harrell Dominant as Trojans Salvage Series Finale over No. 15 UWA 2-0
LIVINGSTON, Ala. – Entering Saturday's play, the Trevecca Nazarene University Baseball team faced a tall order: beat the ERA leader in the Gulf South Conference, or suffer a sweep at the hands of the University of West Alabama and find themselves 3-games back of the Tigers with only nine games left in the GSC.
Logan Harrell and the Trojans took that challenge seriously, and with one of the best pitching performances in program history, they blanked UWA to ensure they remained in the thick of the GSC race.
Harrell was dominant, throwing a complete game shutout on just 80 pitches as Trevecca (26-12, 17-7 GSC) took the 2-0 win over West Alabama (27-8, 18-6 GSC). The Trojans are now just one game back of the Tigers with nine GSC games remaining.
