LIVINGSTON, Ala. – To win games and series against good teams, a baseball team has to minimize self-inflicted wounds. On Friday, the Trevecca Nazarene University baseball team fell victim to some costly miscues as they dropped a pair of one-run games.
Trevecca (25-12, 16-7 GSC) held the lead after six innings in game one against the University of West Alabama (28-7, 18-5 GSC) and through four innings in game two, but in both cases, the Tigers rallied in the late innings to take the wins, 5-4 in game one and 2-1 in the second contest.
