HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Hitters for the Trevecca Nazarene University baseball team have really enjoyed facing pitchers from the University of Alabama-Huntsville since joining the Gulf South Conference a season ago. The Trojans have put up 42 runs in five meetings between the two teams as conference foes, and on Friday, a second TNU hitter recorded a three homer game against the Chargers.
Cade Martin blasted a trio of homers in game one of the double-header between Trevecca (28-16, 18-11 GSC) and UAH (19-21, 14-15 GSC) on Friday, but while the offense came to life, the Trojans were unable to find a win on the afternoon, as they dropped the games 11-7 and 9-8.
