NASHVILLE – As the 2026 season entered its second full month on Friday, the Trevecca Nazarene University baseball team faced its toughest test so far. The Trojans welcomed the No. 22 West Florida Argonauts to Jackson Field. The Trojans and Argonauts opened their weekend series with both off to excellent starts in the Gulf South Conference standings, and headed into Saturday, each team has a victory on the weekend.
Trevecca (14-6, 9-2 GSC) used a parade of walks in the second game of the twin bill to take the 9-3 win after West Florida (16-4, 8-3 GSC) took the series opener 6-1.
