NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Through the first five innings on Tuesday afternoon, the Trevecca Trojans offense was stuck in neutral. The Trojans were able to generate base runners early, but they were unable to get much production going against the Lincoln Memorial University Railsplitters.
In the bottom of the sixth frame, that all changed.
Trevecca (25-10) trailed 4-1 after five and a half innings, but a home run from Rylan Moses in the bottom of the sixth set the stage for a 10-run explosion in the Trojans' final three trips to the dish, and Trevecca rallied to defeat LMU (23-12) 11-6.
