TREVECCA BASEBALL | Two Late Homers Lift Trojans to 9-7 Win over Carson-Newman
NASHVILLE – As the 2026 season has progressed, the Trevecca Nazarene University baseball team has seen their offense as a steady force. Trevecca is averaging 10 hits per game through their first 18 games, and they have 58 extra base hits in 18 games. On Tuesday, Trevecca belted seven hits for extra bases, and that keyed a late rally against Carson-Newman University.
Trevecca (13-8) belted a pair of two-run home runs in the bottom of the seventh inning, as they turned a 7-5 deficit into a 9-7 lead over the Eagles (9-9), and the Trojans' bullpen made that stand up as the final score.
