TREVECCA WOMEN'S BASKETBALL | Trojans Extinguish Flames in GSC Quarterfinal; Face UAH in Semis Thursday

NASHVILLE – Twenty-two years to the day since the last time the Trevecca Nazarene University women's basketball team last faced Lee University in the postseason. On that evening, it was Trevecca that took an overtime win over the Flames in the Trojan Fieldhouse led by an outstanding effort from their star senior in the post. On Monday night, all of that history repeated except the overtime portion.
Trevecca (18-10) was led by a 19-point effort from Cheyenne Trotter - much like Lindsey Fly did for the Trojans in 2004 - and the Trojans took out Lee (18-10) with a 63-53 victory.
