JACKSON, Tenn. – The Trevecca Nazarene University baseball team capped off one of the best weeks in recent memory on Saturday on the road at one of their oldest rivals. The Trojans met up with the Union University Bulldogs in Jackson, Tennessee, and Trevecca spoiled the fun for the home standing Bulldogs again.
Trevecca (20-6, 13-2 GSC) blasted a pair of grand slams in game one - a 15-4 Trevecca win - before Ryan Sweeney locked down his third save in five days as the Trojans beat Union (10-15, 4-11 GSC) 4-3 in the series finale. Trevecca has now won seven in a row - five of them away from home, and four against teams ranked in the top-5 at the time of the game.
