NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Trevecca Nazarene University baseball team entered their double-header against Kentucky Wesleyan College on Saturday knowing they had the opportunity to witness history. Thanks to a 28-run offensive explosion, they were able to do just that.
Trevecca (3-3) pounded out 27 hits in only 14 offensive innings on Saturday, as the Trojans swept the Panthers (1-2) in the twin bill to push head coach Chase Sain into fourth on the Trojans all-time head coaching wins list. Trevecca won game one 9-6, and in the rubber game of the series, the Trojans took a 19-0 win in seven innings.
