Trevecca Women's Basketball | Trojans Take Big Road Win at UWF to Open Crucial Trip
PENSACOLA, Fla. – When last the Trevecca Nazarene University women's basketball team saw the University of West Florida, the Trojans were scuffling. Trevecca was in the midst of a stretch that saw the Trojans drop four of five games to end the 2025 calendar year, but since the year changed to 2026, the Trojans have been on fire. That hot streak continued on Thursday night with perhaps one of Trevecca's most important road wins since joining the Gulf South Conference.
Trevecca (14-7, 11-5 GSC) avenged their earlier defeat at the hands of the UWF Argonauts (13-9, 8-7 GSC) with a consistent effort that saw the Trojans win each quarter en route to the 76-62 win. With six games left in the GSC slate, the Trojans are locked in a tight race for the second seed in the GSC Championship, and Trevecca will have two more huge road tests down the stretch.
