NASHVILLE, Tenn. – When the Trevecca Nazarene University men's basketball team last saw the University of West Alabama, the Trojans dug their way out of a deep hole only to see their comeback fall short. On Thursday night, 40 minutes was not enough, as the Trojans and Tigers played another barn-burner.
Trevecca (12-7, 7-6 GSC) had their opportunities to take the victory, but in the end, West Alabama (18-2, 13-1 GSC) showed why they are ranked so highly as the Tigers outlasted the Trojans in double overtime, 106-102.
