Trevecca Around the Globe (TAG) does not offer students field trips. Nor does it offer study abroad. It offers unique missional experiences, rooted entirely in faith and inspired by the Christian mission—but it's more than that.

On a TAG trip, you help, you serve, you pour yourself out, but it's not easy. You learn, but without the leisure and amenities of a study abroad. You have fun, but without the planned consistency of a field trip. You get off a plane, a bus or whatever form of transport, and are thrust into a new world, a new culture, where people may speak a different language and have different ways of looking at life. It can be jarring, but it's so important.

Alongside the opportunity to love and serve others the way Christ loves and serves us, TAG offers students the chance to look beyond the walls of their own context and see what life looks like elsewhere through sudden cultural immersion. You may find yourself in one place, with a culture different than yours, talking—or attempting to communicate with what language you have—with people from a separate culture.
