Trevecca celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with a series of campus events that encouraged dialogue, cultural appreciation and community connection.

The celebration began on September 29 with a discussion inviting students, faculty and guests to explore the intersection of policy, compassion and faith.

On September 30, students had an opportunity to attend the National Immigration Forum’s Leading the Way Conference, where speakers examined national immigration topics through civic and spiritual perspectives.

The events continued October 1 with the Nashville Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Business Panel, a luncheon held in Benson Auditorium featuring local business leaders and professionals who shared insights on entrepreneurship and leadership.

The celebration concluded October 9 with Salsa Night, an evening of music, dancing and community sponsored by the Student Government Association’s Intercultural Board, the Office of Social Life and the Social Dance Club.

Throughout the month, students and staff came together to honor the diversity, achievements and cultural heritage of the Hispanic and Latino communities that enrich Trevecca’s campus and the world beyond.
