Trevecca Alum Rondy Smith Earns Spot in TICUA Hall of Fame

Dr. Rondy Smith is presented with an award at Trevecca.

Trevecca aluma Dr. Rondy Smith has been inducted into the 2022 Hall of Fame class for the Tennessee Independent Colleges and Universities Association (TICUA).

Smith is the founder and executive director of Rest Stop Ministries, a nonprofit dedicated to comprehensive care for female survivors of domestic sex trafficking. She was an associate professor of management at Trevecca and directed the graduate degree program from 1991-2001. Smith is also ordained in the Church of the Nazarene and served as the community life pastor at the Hermitage Church of the Nazarene for more than a decade.

TICUA honors alumni from its member institutions who have made important contributions at the state level, nationally and in the world at large. Selected by their institutions, they are individuals who have contributed to the betterment of humanity through service, leadership and achievement.
