The Trevecca Nazarene University women's basketball team (18-7,  14-4 Great Midwest) is headed to the 2023 Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championships for the sixth time in the eleven-year history of the league. Trevecca is not only advancing to the championships but is assured of a top-four seed and a home quarterfinal game.

Trevecca is set to host a yet-to-be-determined opponent at Trojan Fieldhouse on February 28 at 6:30 p.m.

It is the tenth G-MAC championship as the 2020 Great Midwest Championships were a casualty of the COVID pandemic.

The Trojans are coached by first-year head coach Karen Booker. Booker is a former Vanderbilt University All-American and Commodore Hall of Famer.

Remaining Schedule
Trevecca faces Kentucky Wesleyan College (19-5, 15-2 Great Midwest) on February 15 in Owensboro, Ky. On Saturday, Feb. 25, Trevecca plays its final regular season game at Ursuline College (12-13, 8-9 Great Midwest) in Pepper Pike, Ohio.

Trojans Disprove Preseason Prediction
The Trojans, picked to finish 12th in the 13-team Great Midwest in the preseason coaches' poll presented by Under Armor, are currently third with two games left on their schedule.

Team Seasons Milestones
Trevecca has more wins this season than any Trojan squad since the 2013-14 team went 19-9.

The Trojans have not only eclipsed last year's win total, five, they have more than tripled last year's win total with 18 wins to date.

After the Trojans opened the season 6-6 they won 12 of their next 13. The surge started following a loss at No. 1 Ashland on December 19. Their next game wasn't until after Christmas break.

The team must have enjoyed the holiday break because they rolled off seven consecutive wins when they returned. A loss at Lake Erie ended the run, but the team has collected five straight again. Combined they are 12-1 since the loss at Ashland.

The seven-game winning streak is the longest since the 2014-2015 team won ten (10) consecutive games to close the regular season.

Undefeated at the Fieldhouse
Trevecca finished their home slate undefeated going 13-0 during the regular season in Trojan Fieldhouse. Add in their home win to end last season and the team has won 14 in a row at the Fieldhouse. In comparison, the Trojans were 2-12 at home last season.

The Trojan's previous best home record in the Div. II era is a 12-2 record in the 2012-13 season. The last Trojan club to go undefeated at home is the 2006-2007 team who went 14-0 at Trojan Fieldhouse and 27-7 overall.

Conference Success
The 14 conference wins equals the most Great Midwest wins for a Trojan squad in the NCAA Div. II era. The 2014-15 and 2013-2014 Trojans also won 14 conference games with identical 14-2 league records.
