The Trevecca Nazarene University STUNT team (18-7) has extended its inaugural season by qualifying for the 2024 STUNT NCAA Division II Nationals.
The Trojans, picked as the preseason No. 1 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference coaches pol, finished tied for the Great Midwest regular season title and then reached the postseason championship game.
They are one of eight teams headed for nationals at Missouri Baptist University in Creve Coeur, Missouri, from April 26-28.
Coached by Kelly Quigley, the Trojans won their first seven games of the year, and suffered only one loss in conference play. When Trevecca avenged its lone conference loss to Ashland, a 14-12 win at the Music City Classic, the Trojans moved up to No. 6 in the national STUNT poll.
