The School of Music and Worship Arts of Trevecca Nazarene University is excited to sponsor Lauren Daigle’s first headline tour, “A Night with Lauren Daigle.” The tour will span the month of October.
"I’m excited to have the Trevecca School of Music and Worship Arts on tour with me this fall, and I’m looking forward to a future visit to their campus in Nashville,” said Daigle. “It’s exciting to see the passion and energy of young people on a mission to serve God with their talent and skill!”
John Thompson, associate dean of Trevecca’s School of Music and Worship Arts, is also excited about the opportunity to partner with Daigle.
“As a worship-focused artist, Lauren exemplifies absolute excellence on every level,” Thompson said. “Her audience is filled with potential world-changers, and our mission at Trevecca is to help nurture, inspire, and train as many of them as possible. We’re honored to support this tour and can’t wait for her to visit the campus next semester.”
Serving as a tour sponsor isn’t the only tie Trevecca has to Daigle’s tour. Peyton Shetler, a 2015 graduate of the University, plays bass guitar in Daigle’s band. He’s excited about the upcoming tour and grateful for the opportunities to grow musically that he experienced while studying at Trevecca.
“Being at Trevecca was great because it put me in the center of Nashville, one of the biggest music cities in the world,” Shetler said. “You’re instantly surrounded by producers, engineers, and musicians. I got to learn from those people and build relationships with those people. It’s been awesome.”
