Trevecca Nursing Program Receives ACEN Accreditation
Trevecca’s nursing program has received accreditation from the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
The accreditation marks an important milestone for Trevecca’s nursing program and reflects the University’s continued commitment to preparing students for meaningful careers in nursing.
“The good news is an endorsement of the excellent collaboration among our faculty and community as a whole,” said Dr. Tom Middendorf, university provost and senior vice president. “This recognition affirms that we are on track with our mission to prepare students for lives of leadership and service through the nursing profession.”
ACEN provides specialized accreditation for all levels of nursing education programs. The nonprofit, non-governmental organization is recognized as an accrediting body by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
Trevecca’s nursing program has grown significantly since its inception as a full four-year program in 2023. The program earned a 100 percent NCLEX ultimate pass rate, a 100 percent completion rate and a 100 percent job placement rate in its most recent outcome results. The latest accreditation represents another step in the University’s work to serve students and meet the needs of the healthcare field.
