Trevecca Launches New Artificial Intelligence Track for Education Specialist Degree

Trevecca has expanded the specialist education in instructional leadership degree (Ed.S.) to include a focus in artificial intelligence (AI).
The goal of this specialized degree is to equip administrators, instructional facilitators and teachers to improve student, school and district performance. The addition of the AI track will empower educators to integrate artificial intelligence into classrooms and institutions effectively and ethically. By leveraging AI tools, educators can streamline tasks, increase efficiency and sustain the important work of education without sacrificing their well-being.
If graduates choose to continue in their education, they can use credits from the Ed.S. degree to transition seamlessly into Trevecca’s Doctor of Education in leadership (Ed.D.) program, which includes specialty tracks focused on AI and K-12 district leadership, among others. As they go deeper as leaders, strategists and researchers, graduate students are prepared to bring fresh insight and an advanced skill set to their school or district.
“Trevecca’s Ed.S. in AI is one of the first programs in the nation to integrate AI specifically into both classroom instruction and educational leadership,” said Trevecca Ed.S. Program Director Tavia McLeod. “Unlike traditional programs that may offer general educational leadership or instructional technology tracks, Trevecca's curriculum is specifically designed to equip educators with practical skills tailored for classroom instruction and to prepare leaders to implement AI-driven strategies in the evolving educational landscape.”
