On its sixth annual Giving Day, Trevecca received support from 943 financial partners to raise $900,064 in a 24-hour period on Thursday, March 26.
These contributions will strengthen the University in a myriad of ways, from offering student scholarships to supporting a variety of academic and ministry initiatives.
The theme of this year’s Giving Day was “Equip. Encourage. Empower.”
The funds raised will assist more Trevecca students than ever before, thanks to record student enrollment in both the fall 2025 semester and the spring 2026 semester. Giving Day dollars will support key initiatives for the University in these areas, among others:
Student scholarships
A graduate-level leadership fund
Ministry support for pastors, current students and Nazarene youth
New library resources and study tools
An on-campus food pantry
Resources to expand career development for students
Teacher education assistance
Professional development for film and television students
Improved health equity in the nearby Napier community
Physician assistant program support
Care for older adults living in the Section 8 housing units at Trevecca Towers
Troy Munn, vice president for institutional advancement, applauded the way the University united in a spirit of generosity and a belief in Trevecca’s mission.
“Trevecca is grateful for all the alumni, students, employees, churches, businesses and friends who came together on Giving Day to generously support our mission of preparing servant leaders,” Munn said. “These funds are an investment in our students’ ability to achieve a quality Christian education and prepare them to be difference makers in a world that needs them.”
