Students study in the interior of Trevecca's library

Trevecca’s online Doctor of Education in leadership (Ed.D.) program has been ranked third in the nation by Fortune.com. Fortune takes multiple factors into consideration for the rankings, including selectivity, the success of the program and the demand for it.

In regard to what sets top doctoral programs apart, Fortune writes, “The best Ed.D. programs have a top-notch curriculum taught by world class professors.” Trevecca has achieved that distinction, coming in just behind Vanderbilt University and Drexel University.

Trevecca’s Ed.D. program teaches the skills and knowledge needed for exceptional leadership so graduates can make a difference wherever their passions and career take them. The research-based curriculum moves beyond theory into practice as students learn to create effective organizations; use the latest tools and technologies; build diverse and collaborative teams; understand the value of intrapersonal effectiveness; and more. Six specialization tracks are available including higher education, consulting and coaching, enterprise leading and managing, healthcare administration, pre K-12 district leadership and professional practice.

This recognition comes on the heels of a Princeton Review ranking, which also rated Treveccan’s Ed.D. program as one of the top in the nation. Trevecca is one of only 50 schools on that list.
