The awards were presented during two special convocations this spring, one for undergraduate programs and another for graduate and nontraditional programs.
Bledsoe is dean of Trevecca’s School of Leadership and Interdisciplinary Studies and an associate director in the online Doctor of Education in leadership (Ed.D.) program. She is also an assistant professor who teaches in multiple programs using a strong understanding of online learning, teaching and engagement. She was selected for her commitment to enhancing overall student success and student experiences. Bledsoe holds a Bachelor of Science in elementary education, a master's degree in education administration and a Doctor of Education, all from Trevecca. She was the recipient of Trevecca's First Chapter Alumni Award in 2021.
Burnham serves as the director of Trevecca’s Master in Arts in teaching (MAT) program and the graduate special education program in visual impairments. He began his teaching career at a residential facility in Central Massachusetts, where he taught students with special needs for three years. After pursuing a master’s degree in special education, he taught exceptional learners at the elementary, middle and high school levels. He studied elementary education at the University of Maine, where he also met his wife, Christy. They have three children, Ashley, Matthew and Sarah.
Green is chair of the Department of Worship for the School of Music and Worship Arts. He also serves as the director of Undergraduate Research and the Quality Enhancement Plan at the University. He holds degrees from Tennessee State University (Ed.D.), Belmont University (MMEd) Trevecca Nazarene University (B.S.), and post-doctoral certificates from The Institute for Worship Studies. Green’s present role at the School of Music and Worship Arts includes teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, student advising and program director for the Master of Arts in worship and leadership degree. He resides in Mount Juliet, Tenn., is married to Keli, has three married daughters, and enjoys spending time with his five grandchildren.
