In its second year, the More and Better Preachers Initiative awarded a total of $33,000 in scholarships to eight students who competed in the preaching competition at the 2025 Top Nazarene Talent (TNT) event.
Each scholarship is a one-time award to be distributed over the course of a recipient’s college career as long as they major or minor in religion and take Trevecca’s preaching course. A total of 32 students competed in 2025, doubling last year’s participant total. In both the Senior Youth and Early Youth divisions, four students presented sermons that resulted in scholarship awards.
The following students earned scholarships in the TNT preaching competition.
Senior Youth Division
