New Beginnings

Do you remember when you enrolled at Trevecca as a freshman? Do you remember all the emotions you went through as you entered a “new beginning” of your life story? It’s happening now to the incoming freshmen and their families. I spoke with an investment client of mine this morning and his statement to me was very revealing. He said, “This has become my second jobgetting my son ready for his freshman year.” It is overwhelming but our Trevecca enrollment staff is the best. Great job to themthis is the largest incoming freshmen class.

This is the beginning of a long relationship with Trevecca both as student and then as alumni. Can I remind you of something? As society changes and more and more demands are made on “faith-based” institutions like Trevecca, the alumni support of those institutions becomes extremely important. And you know what I mean by supportnot only referring more students but also talking up the university to your family, friends, colleagues, and yes, supporting financially. Trevecca needs us. A Christian education becomes of utmost importance in this day and age.

When you are doing your estate planning and looking to your future, please make sure you include Trevecca Nazarene University in your plans. It’s eternally important.

Plan to come home to The Hill for Homecoming in November. It’s always a great time together. The Alumni Association Board of Directors is planning to be there and greet you personally.
